A Countryside Wedding in Lehigh Valley, PA

Second Shot for Fox & Film.

There’s something sacred about a wedding that takes place on familiar ground.

Dan and Gabrielle were married in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania—on land owned by close family friends. It’s a  quiet stretch of countryside, the kind where the light moves slow and the silence sings and harmonizes with the gentle gust of wind. Their reception was held inside a historic Gothic arch barn, tucked just beyond the fields. The kind of place that doesn’t ask to be dressed up—but still, they did. And they did it beautifully.

Fresh florals filled every corner—soft, sprawling, intentional. The vibe leaned speakeasy: warm lights, clinking glasses, and a freedom that only comes when the place is already yours.

Their Day, Their Way

Gabrielle walked through the morning with a calm kind of focus—the kind you only get when you’re completely in the moment. There were no loud timelines, no clipboard with pen tapping. Just her. The people she loves. The space to breathe it all in.

Dan was the same. Quietly grounded. Smiling in that kind of way you do when you know—really know—you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

The ceremony was simple. Beautiful. Unrushed. No distractions, no production. Just honest vows exchanged under open sky, surrounded by people who mattered. And that theme carried through the whole day—every piece of it felt true to them. No extras for show. Just intention, everywhere.

When it came time for the reception, the barn glowed. Candles flickered against old wood beams. The smell of flowers and warm food filled the air. And everywhere you looked, someone was laughing. Or crying. Or holding someone they love. That kind of night.

The Details Made It Theirs

Everything about Dan and Gabrielle’s day felt tactile—thought through, but not overdone.

There was the custom stationery, elegant and ornate, nestled among vintage jewelry and emerald velvet. Her shoes were deep green with a jeweled buckle—modern yet classic. The bouquet? Untamed. Lush. Flowers that looked like they’d just been cut from a garden hidden somewhere off a gravel road.

Inside the barn, the tables stretched long beneath a vaulted wooden ceiling. Velvet furniture in rich tones. Glassware rimmed for spice. Candles on every surface. It wasn’t a theme—it was a feeling. Something between 1920s supper club and “we’ve been collecting for this our whole lives.”

Gabrielle wore lace—layers and layers of it—and boots beneath her gown when they went out to see the horses. A little unexpected, a little perfect. Dan looked sharp but comfortable, the kind of groom who didn’t need to be told to stand a little straighter; he was already beaming.

And the portraits? Moody, grounded. Less about smiling at the camera and more about being fully inside the moment.

Even the sky played its part—drizzling gently, then pausing. The kind of weather that makes everything feel a little softer, a little more cinematic.

A Wedding That Felt Like Home

What made this day special wasn’t just the setting or the styling—it was the feeling that nothing was forced. That love was the only thing on the agenda.

Dan and Gabrielle didn’t just throw a beautiful wedding. They created a space for people to be present. To slow down. To remember what it means to witness two people choose each other with their whole hearts.

And we got to be there to save all of it.
